Harrison Friedmann & Associates Pty Ltd commenced on 1st July, 1980. It incorporated the former practices of E.R.L. Steele, R.G. Harrison and P.G. Friedmann.

In July 2007 Harrison Friedmann & Associates merged with the practice of Michael J Stynes & Associates, adding to the experience and resources currently available to our clients.

The Directors of the Company have been involved in surveying, road, drainage, sewer and water reticulation design and construction for a total of over 100 years and have a wide range of experience.

The objective of the Company is to provide total client satisfaction through the highest quality work. Our Company has a Quality Assurance System that has been externally audited and is certified to ISO9001.

The Company carries Workers Compensation, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

The Company presently employs 18 full time staff and calls upon the services of qualified casual staff as and when the need arises. All field staff have attended an O.H. & S. Induction Training course for Construction Work. Three field staff have confined space certification.

Staff are kept up to date with changes in legislation and technology by attendences at educational seminars and workshops. Our library is comprehensive. We are equipped with modern instruments and the latest computer and electronic equipment.

Our client base was established by word-of-mouth referrals and ranges from householders and one-off owner builders through to Government Agencies, Public Trusts, large developers and builders.

The Directors are Registered Surveyors and Members of the Institution of Surveyors. Our Company is a member of the Institution of Surveyors (NSW), Association of Consulting Surveyors (NSW), Planning Institute of Australia and the Stormwater Industry Association.

Harrison Friedmann & Associates Pty Ltd is an agent for Sydney Water dealing with Section 73 applications and the stamping of building plans.
